Josh Davis is a journalist, filmmaker and educator. Before joining SF State, Josh was a producer at VICE News Tonight on HBO, where he directed the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning documentary, Charlottesville: Race and Terror. Josh spearheaded visual journalism projects at The New York Times, MediaStorm, National Geographic, and NPR, where he directed the award-winning documentary, Planet Money Makes A T-Shirt. Josh has taught journalism courses at NYU, Columbia, CUNY and The New School. He earned an M.A. in journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill.
