All Journalism, Journalism–Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, and Journalism-Print/Online majors must complete a minor to satisfy their complementary studies requirement. Students should consult with an academic advisor in journalism to determine the minor that best meets their interests and professional goals. Please see the SF State Bulletin for information about individual minor requirements.
Students with Bulletin Years of 2024-25 and later can select from any minor currently available. Completion requires students to complete all requirements with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
