Guest Speaker: Russell Jeung

San Francisco State University Professor Russell Jeung, the founder of Stop AAPI Hate, an organization that has been tracking hate violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders since the start of the pandemic, will speak to JOUR 205, Social Impact of Journalism class about the increase of Asian American hate crimes and the role of news media leading to that rise.

This event is open to all in the Journalism Department.

This event will count toward the Journalism Event requirement.
