Overview
Clara Mokri, a native Angeleno with Iranian and Indonesian roots, is a recent graduate of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Her undergraduate degree is from Yale. Clara freelances as a photographer and videographer from her current home in Santa Cruz, CA.
Her thesis film, Anchored Out, about people living on house boats in Sausalito, recently had its world premiere at the Mill Valley Film Festival.
Clara has worked at Vice, Surfer Magazine, the New York Times, and California Sunday Magazine among other publications. She is also a graduate of the Eddie Adams photo workshop.
