Sherry Boschert is an award-winning journalist and the author of 37 Words: Title IX and Fifty Years of Fighting Sex Discrimination and Plug-in Hybrids: The Cars That Will Recharge America. Among her many honors, she received a Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for her efforts to promote equity within the news industry. After living in San Francisco for 30 years, Boschert now lives in New Hampshire.
Vanessa Hua is an award-winning, best-selling author and columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. Her forthcoming novel, Forbidden City, was called “magnificent” by Publisher’s Weekly. Her novel, A River of Stars, was named to the Washington Post and NPR’s Best Books of 2018 lists, and has been called a "marvel" by O, The Oprah Magazine, and "delightful" by The Economist. Her short story collection, Deceit and Other Possibilities, a New York Times Editors' Choice, received an Asian/Pacific American Award in Literature and was a finalist for a California Book Award, and a New American Voices Award. Hua is an East Bay resident.
Lucy Jane Bledsoe’s forthcoming debut young adult novel,
is based on her own true story of using Title IX to get a girls' basketball team in her high school, and finding her voice in the process. Bledsoe also authored eight books of adult fiction, one of nonfiction, and eight children's books. Bledsoe is an East Bay resident.
