Student Welcome and Alumni Mixer: 'American Doctor'

Please join us in the Mission for a very special Student Welcome and Alumni Mixer event! Meet fellow students, faculty and alumni as we celebrate the San Francisco theatrical debut of 'American Doctor,' a riveting new documentary from SF State Journalism alumni Poh Si Teng ('09). The film follows three American doctors determined to assist patients in Gaza's war-ravaged hospitals, and to carry that fight home to Washington.

We'll gather at Picaro on 16th near Valencia to welcome our new and returning students. Faculty will be on hand to answer your (tough) questions about their classes, our program, and how we can support your journey.

Then, we'll head across the street to the Roxie Theater at 8:30 for a Sneak Preview screening of 'American Doctor.' Separate screening tickets are available from $7 to $17 and are required to attend the 8:30 showing.
