Whether you identify as queer, a member of the LGBTQ+ community or a dedicated ally, we invite you to join the vibrant world of NLGJA – The Association For LGBTQ+ Journalist.

NLGJA, a journalist-led association, is on a mission to propel fair and accurate coverage of LGBTQ+ communities and issues within the realm of news media. Committed to fostering diverse and inclusive workplaces, NLGJA holds the industry accountable while offering education, professional development and mentorship.

Our SF State chapter is eagerly welcoming new members to foster the tight-knit community and bolster our engagement with the Queer community on campus and throughout the Bay Area. Join us for a special meet and greet on Wednesday, March 6th, at 12 p.m. in Humanities Building 310. And yes, there'll be pizza!
