KQED newsroom tour!

Join the JOUR/BECA 480 Audio Journalism class in a tour inside of KQED’s newsroom and studios. The visit will be led by KQED editors and reporters, and will culminate in a presentation for students interested in KQED internships and careers in public media. Speakers include:

Alan Montecillo, Senior Editor of The Bay, will talk about how they go from pitch to publication



Pendarvis Harshaw, host of Rightnowish, will talk about interviewing: how to find people, how to prep, and tips for doing interviews

And a KQED hiring editor will talk about upcoming internship and job opportunities.

A registration liability form is required to be signed before the visit by Friday, March 8 at 10am. Students must arrive in the KQED lobby by 1:45pm and have ID ready to present at the security desk.
