KQED to Air JOUR 480 Student Projects
Overview
KQED will air all of the final projects from last semester’s inaugural JOUR 480 Audio Journalism class this Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 10pm. You can listen live online (https://www.kqed.org/) and on the radio (88.5 and 89.3 FM).
The one-hour special, “The Future of the Bay Area,” includes reporting about the future of housing, transportation, music and climate as told through stories about repurposed churches, bicycle messengers, underground music and environmental threats.
Projects include work from the following students: Anessa Bailon, Sarah Bowen, Justine Brady, Sarah Bruno, Emily Calix, Matthew Cardoza, Joshua Carter, Abraham Fuentes, Eian Gil, Ximena Loeza, Oscar Palma, Hayden Royster (MFA Creative Writing), Magnus Sørensen and Ciara O’Kelley.
