Kevin Fagan, veteran reporter

Kevin Fagan is an award-winning journalist and passionate storyteller who recently retired from the Chronicle. He’s the author of The Lost and the Found. Set in San Francisco—one of the wealthiest cities in America—Kevin takes an empathic, character-driven approach to exploring the human side of what’s behind the homelessness epidemic. Kevin will talk about his reporting for the Chronicle — which included serial killers (i.e., Unabomber, Doodler and Zodiac) and disasters ranging from the Sept. 11 terror attacks at Ground Zero to California’s devastating wildfires.
