Guest speakers: Jessica Christian and Kevin Fagan

Jessica Christian and Kevin Fagan will be speaking on how photographers and reporters can truly collaborate in their reporting. They’ll talk of their work together in covering people experiencing homelessness. Jessica is a photojournalist and Bay Area native who is a staff photographer for the San Francisco Chronicle. Kevin is an award-winning journalist and passionate storyteller who recently retired from the Chronicle. He’s the author of The Lost and the Found. Set in San Francisco—one of the wealthiest cities in America—Kevin takes an empathic, character-driven approach to exploring the human side of what's behind the homelessness epidemic. Jessica and Kevin will talk about their work together both specific to the book and more broadly.
