Overview

Saylor Nedelman (BA '21 Photojournalism) has always been a storyteller at heart—capturing moments, analyzing song lyrics, and narrating memories that shaped her creative lens. Immersed in San Francisco’s vibrant creative community and California’s underground festival scene, she developed a distinct visual style rooted in emotion, connection, and culture.

Now a full-time digital and film photographer with over six years of experience, Saylor specializes in documenting music, events, corporate, and lifestyle moments. She has turned her lifelong passion into a thriving career, working with more than 35 major festivals and collaborating with hundreds of artists, brands, and companies to tell the stories that bring people together. Some of her highlighted clients include Goldenvoice, Coachella, The DoLab, Insomniac Events, The SF Giants, Red Bull and more.

Join the J435 Editorial Photography class on Thursday to see Saylor's work and hear her stories from a life on the road as a music photographer.
