Dan Rosenheim is the director of business development for Bay City News Service and edits LocalNewsMatters.org. He worked as a reporter for papers in Chicago and San Francisco before becoming city editor at The San Francisco Chronicle. He later became the paper’s managing editor and then moved to TV, where he was news director at KRON-TV and vice president/news at KPIX-5. Newsrooms under his stewardship won Pulitzer, Peabody, Batten and Unity awards.
