Overview

Please join the SF State Journalism Department, School of Cinema and the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability in the Coppola Theater for a special LIVE screening of CRUTCH, a documentary by Associate Professor of Journalism Sachi Cunningham about the gravity defying life of Bill Shannon, an internationally renowned artist, break-dancer and skate punk—who uses crutches (ASL/CC/AD provided).

Q&A to follow the screening with the film's subject Bill Shannon, Krip Hop founder Leroy Moore, and the filmmakers. We've missed gathering in person and hope to see you there!

Not ready to join us in person? You can screen the film on discovery+ at your leisure and join us for the panel conversation on zoom at 7 p.m. PT.

Free to the public, proof of vaccine required.
