In Fall 2019, the Journalism Department updated its curriculum for both the online/print and photojournalism B.A. programs.
All students who started in Fall 2019 or after are on the new curriculum. Students who started before that can follow the bulletin for the year they entered SFSU or change to the new curriculum. (Students may not switch to a previous curriculum.) See chart below to compare the old and new curricula. Students should discuss any bulletin year changes with a journalism advisor.
For the full list of degree requirements check the SFSU bulletin for the year you started or the year you want to change to.
