Rebecca Smith Hurd, Sunset Magazine

Rebecca Smith Hurd is a Bay Area media veteran. Currently, she’s the managing editor at Sunset Magazine. Previously, she was with Via and Wired. Rebecca also lived and reported from Puebla, Mexico, for eight years. The New York Times called her blog, All About Puebla, “the best source for food, festivals, and everything else poblano.” Rebecca has managed research and copy desks, coordinated editorial internship programs, and collaborated with assigning editors to ensure consistency and overall quality. She’s taught online professional-development courses for Mediabistro and regularly writes about food and drink.​
