So Long, Farewell…

After 35 years of dedicated service to the Journalism Department, Edna Lee, the office manager that everyone knows, loves and appreciates, is retiring. She has worked with 8 chairs in three decades and it has been said more than once – she knows the institution in and out, so much so, she could tell you where the bodies are buried. I have never worked with anyone as efficient and knowledgeable as her. And as I eased my way into the chair’s position three years ago, she helped every step of the way, guiding me through the intricacies of the SF State bureaucratic machine. I have heard others say similar things. We will miss her. Edna, the faculty, staff, students and I thank you! Enjoy your golden years.
