Medsger is the former chair of the Journalism Department at SF State and the founder of the Center for Integration and Improvement of Journalism. Her new book, The Burglary: The Discovery of J. Edgar Hoover's Secret FBI, is the never-before-told story of the history-changing break-in at the FBI office in Media, Pennsylvania in 1971 by a group of unlikely activists.

Rosenfeld is a freelance journalist based in San Francisco. His best-selling book, Subersives: The FBI War on Student Radicals, traces the FBI's secret involvement with three iconic figures at Berkeley during the 1960s.
