Vivian Ho, Reporter at The Guardian, author of 'Those Who Wander: America's Lost Street Kids'

Vivian Ho is a reporter for The Guardian's West Coast bureau. Previously, she covered the criminal justice beat for the San Francisco Chronicle and served on the newspaper's breaking news team for six years. She was recently selected as a Livingston Awards finalist for her work on "A Life on the Line," a two-part series covering the story of San Francisco resident -- and SF State alum -- Cecilia Lam, who was killed by her boyfriend in 2014. That piece also won the first-place award in 2017 by the California News Publishers Association for In-Depth Reporting and the Asian American Journalists Association 2018 Written Journalism Award for General Excellence. She is the author of the book Those Who Wander, America's Lost Street Kids.
