Jennifer Prior has worked throughout the Bay Area as a copy editor, from Wired and Epic magazines to Random House Books. She’s worked on awarding stories and publications. She’s managed the copy desk at Wired when the publication won multiple American Society of Magazine (ASME) awards, including Clive Thompson’s “Vision Quest,” Josh Davis’ “Dangerous,” and Spencer Ackerman’s FBI Teaches Agents: ‘Mainstream’ Muslims Are ‘Violent, Radical.” Now overseeing editorial and the copy desk at Apple’s App Store, Jennifer can speak to how to transition from traditional journalism to marketing and communication.
