Getting Documents to Tell the Story

Event Date: Monday, March 16 - 5:00 pm
Location: Humanities Building, Room 308

In recognition of Sunshine Week, where journalists all over the country are requesting public documents, David Greene, our law and media ethics professor in the fall, will be joining us along with Thomas Peele, investigative reporter and author of "Killing the Messenger." They will talk about documents that student journalists should be requesting regularly, how to write a Freedom of Information request, and how to deal with the challenges of getting documents that by law should be available to you.
